For the purposes of completing development of its platform technologies for pre-clinical and clinical testing, the company seeks collaborators. Animal testing for toxicity and other preclinical studies could be undertaken by collaborators prior to testing in humans. Production of each of the components is expected to be possible in places other than Australia thus providing potentially lucrative opportunities for collaborators.

Lipotek has limited resources and several innovative vaccines under development so that it is dependent on strategic collaborations and partnerships. A partnership with a pharmaceutical company would be ideal in this case. Lipotek seeks a partner having the financial means to support, initially, together with Lipotek, further development of the influenza vaccine Lipokel.

Expressions of interest are sought from entities with ability to participate in the Lipokel program on the basis that some costs are involved against benefits to be derived from sales under exclusive licence.
